Pride and Prejudice
I finally found, after a long and patient search, the scripts for Pride & Prejudice (as well as Emma and Sense& Sensibilty among others). Perhaps if there's much interest we can finally stage a YMS production - or at least have auditions, which are the most fun part, and allow us all to proclaim the Darcy proposal speech.

I was round at FAD's last night. Watched The Interpreter. Anyway at the end it had trailers for upcoming films and there was the Pride and Prej one. So me getting all excited and FAD no so, sat and watched it.
And i have to say, that it looks like the worst ever Pride and Prej to be made :-s
It looks realy really awful. Its like the Bride and Prej. And no offence but the guy playing Mr Darcy is ugly...it defeats the purpose of the film ;)
As much as i love Kiera Knightly she's the wrong person to play Elizabeth Bennet...its all wrong wrong wrong!
I say we boycott it and u can all just come to mine and we'll watch the excellent BBC version :)

Lol I don't mind so long as I'm not Mary. but it'd be the coolest thing to do with the YMSers so they can have fun and get to know each other. We could even do one of those outdoor performances in a park at the end.
ps. I'm sure you'ld be a wonderful Mr Collins and I think Aaysha should try out for both Jane and Wickham.

For YMS Active, I was thinking about a charity evening for a local charity, and we can perform a scene there!
Thinking lots of artsy type stuff, like the Gala night at Uni, but put on by everyone who's in YM, show casing their talents!

I was reading the script u left at mine Zee and it was great reading through it, was doing the fantastic proposal scene in my room...heehee!
